Organ Donation |

| One of the promises we made to our son Kolton before he passed on was to help others. At the Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Frances and I were forced to make a decision on organ donations. For some this can be a hard decision to make but because of the promise we made Kolton it was easier for us. Some people may or may not be aware that we made multiple organ donations to help other people. Firstly through the Eye Bank of Canada, Ontario Division, this organization made it possible for Kolton’s eyes to help two recipients to undergo sight-restoring corneal transplants. One recipient was a 34-year old young man and the other was a 7-year old boy. Additionally, Kolton’s heart was donated for it’s Valves, Pericardium and Aorta to be used for transplant.
